Her career in microfinance sector started in 2001 with her position as a Loan Officer in disbursement of loans to women by the program of "Keremet Kol", launched by Mercy Corps in Kyrgyzstan. 

Within the framework of this program she managed to grow the volume of loan portfolio from 14 mln KGS up to 113 mln KGS and the number of customers grew up to 6713. From 2005 to 2007 Ainagul served as Balykchi Branch Manager, Kompanion Financial Group.  According to results of 2007, Balykchi Branch led by Ainagul was recognized as "Best Branch of 2007" and Ainagul received an award for outstanding achievements. Number of loan officers constantly grew under her supervision as she had a unique coaching method, as well as method of customer screening, which directly influenced the loan portfolio quality . During her service PAR was 0%.  The same year Ainagul was appointed as Regional Director for Naryn and Issykkul branches, Kompanion Financial Group.  In 2008 she served as Business Development Director in Northern region, Kompanion Financial Group.
